Some of our favorite spots from a recent trip to Oaxaca, Mexico
Hotel Casa Oaxaca, is wonderful for dinner or for drinks around its beautiful courtyard
Suculenta, A specialty food shop where you will find jams, honeys, oils, and more. Using fruits and vegetables that are local to Oaxaca, everything is canned and preserved on the premises.
Boulenc, On the same block as Suculenta you will find Boulenc, which is perfect for Breakfast or lunch, or to grab a coffee. Bread is made daily, and there are wonderful sweet and savory pastries, egg dishes, sandwiches and salads. A favorite in Oaxaca for sure.
Criollo, A new restaurant from Chef Enrique Olvera, tucked away in an old colonial mansion, guests walk through the kitchen before sitting down in the open restaurant.
Jardin Etnobotanico de Oaxaca, Located behind the Santo Domingo Cultural Center, a beautiful garden that showcases the diverse flora of Oaxaca
Restaurant Casa Oaxaca, Great views of the city with classic and delicious Oaxacan fare
Markets, There are so many wonderful markets in Oaxaca, a few of our favorites are 20 de Noviembre, Benito Juarez, Tlacolula
