Current Finds No. 35, 01.25

Alternative Flowers: With Valentine’s Day approaching I like these two ideas for an alternative to a typical bouquet, a paper flower arrangement from Livia of The Green Vase, or Natoora’s case for giving radicchio instead of roses.
Workshop: We are hosting a workshop with Livia this weekend, if you are interested in attending another one at a later point let us know as we will try to plan another for the Spring.
Movies: I try every year to watch all of the movies that are nominated for Best Picture and fail every year, but here is a link where you can stream them all. I also loved this article on films that have aesthetically inspired fashion designers, that first picture of Faye Dunaway!
Listen: This playlist brought me a good dose of nostalgia for music I listened to when I was in college.
Design: An interesting take on the tablecloth reimagined as a more obvious skirt form, from designer Sarah Espeute.
Color and Pattern: I cannot pinpoint what it is but I am very captivated with this rug.
Article of Clothing: I live in a sweatshirt several days of the week and am interested in these new ones in a range of colors from Still Here New York.
Bakery: Welcome Home, a new very delicious bakery in Bed Stuy from bakers formerly at L’Appartment 4F.
Quote: “I’ve worn the same clothes, applied the same make-up and had the same hairstyle for 30 years. Don’t worry about experimenting. Life is complicated enough.” -Claudia Winkleman via The Gentlewoman
