Donate: The National Network of Abortion Funds and The Brigid Alliance are where we are currently donating.

Read: I just finished Smile, The Story of a Face by Sarah Ruhl, which is a memoir about a woman who discovers she has Bell’s Palsy while still in the maternity ward just after delivering twins. I love reading memoirs and this one is a story of acceptance, which also celebrates the many small victories that we come across during the sometimes difficult grind of our everyday lives.

A Life Hack: I am buying tons and tons of strawberries (my favorite fruit of all) at the farmers market as they are almost out of season, and freezing them so I can enjoy them for many months to come.

Small Business: A very lovely bookstore called Dear Friend Books just opened on Tompkins Avenue in Bed Stuy. Selling rare and vintage books with many titles on art and design it has a beautiful interior with a big bar and backyard to sit at and enjoy a tea.

Exhibition: Opening soon at Blum and Poe in Los Angeles is a show I would love to see, Three Landscapes: JB Blunk, Anna and Lawrence Halprin, explores the relationship of the sculptor, dancer, and landscape architect and how their practices intertwined in Marin County CA during the 60s and 70s.

Article: From Passerbys, books and movies to turn to when looking for a change within yourself.

Garden: It has taken me a while to visit Madoo Conservancy in Sagaponack but it is worth a visit, it is the sweetest intimate garden.

Bake Sale: I have a very real sweet tooth and am very excited for the upcoming bake sale (with all goods baked by men) at the wonderful Archestratus in Greenpoint on July 13th to benefit the aforementioned Brigid Alliance.

Flowers: These brightly colored paintings of flowers have charmed me.
