Movie Trailers: I love watching movie trailers so much and coming across this list of movies coming out in the Fall gave me back to school esque excitement. If you watch only one of them, watch this one.
Snack: I am not sure if it is the snacks or their styling on this ceramic plate, but I thoroughly enjoyed this photo diary of a series of summer snacks.
Book: I am in the midst of Sempre Susan, Sigrid's Nunez's memoir of Susan Sontag. The short book about the time Nunez spent with Sontag is furthering my intrigue of the later.
Photo: This photo is capturing the last days of summer heat in the city for me.
Escape: I never venture to the Jersey Shore but this new hotel has caught my eye, and I have flagged it for a future adventure.
Two Exhibitions: Two exhibitions high on my list to see at the Guggenheim: Eva Hesse which is ending soonish, and the Alex Katz retrospective opening in October.
Song to Run To: The song that is in the heaviest rotation on my running playlist.
Design Objects: Just having visited the Hancock Shaker Village the group and their wares were fresh on my mind. I was interested then to read about Raf Simon’s newly designed home accessories for Kvadrat, inspired by the movement.
Small Business: Rita and Maria in my opinion is a perfect little cafe. With just a few things on the menu nestled on a residential street in Bed Stuy, it is my new favorite place for a quick lunch.
Quote: With only a few days until I complete another lap around the sun, I am thinking about this quote alot, and hoping that every year I learn how to live like this a little bit more.
