Oyster Vase - Abalone

A muted palette reveals surfaces as varied as shells on the ocean floor: layered and fragile, ridged and striated, matte and glassy. A soft white interior offsets mottled
greys. Drips and tiny crystalline pools create depth. Pinched and coiled in white porcelain and high fired three times.
