Mare Lumbar Pillow

The patterns in this collection blend a wide range of influences, from motifs of traditional Indian sarees, to the geometry of the Vienna Secession, to the ornamentation of Third Style Pompeii frescoes. 

Mare is the sea in Italian. The gentle wash of blues evokes the serenity yet also the immense might of the ocean.

This block printed pillow features hand dyed cotton/linen fabric with contrast piping and a hidden zipper closure along the seam.

Size: 22"L x 12" W 

50% cotton, 50% linen. Down insert included.

Care Instruction: wash cold with gentle soap, lay flat to dry. Iron if needed

Studio Ford is a Los Angeles-based textile atelier that celebrates the artful practice of traditional Indian block-printing. First designed in California, textiles are then produced in close collaboration with local craftspeople in Jaipur, India.
