Oyster Vase - Two Handle

A muted palette reveals surfaces as varied as shells on the ocean floor: layered and fragile, ridged and striated, matte and glassy. A faint layer of white terra sigillata remains after a high firing. Rubbed with olive oil for a soft sheen and smooth texture and lined with an earthy speckled glaze.
