Exhibition: Thadeus Mosely’s Recent Sculpture, currently on view at Karma.
Another Exhibition: Head Hi, the coffee shop and bookstore across from the Navy Yard is having their annual lamp show (image above), where a selection of lamps are chosen from an international open call. Go have a peek.
Podcast: A just released podcast from musician Devonte Hynes exploring his influences in the classical music world and beyond. If you are already a fan of his like I am you can imagine how good the music is, and for someone who enjoys classical music but knows very little about it, it was a pure delight to listen to.

Song: I was nearly brought to tears while listening to Prema by Alice Coltrane, which is on the aforementioned podcast.
Textile: A simple stripe pattern is something I always gravitate towards but there is something about this one that feels so perfect to me.
Small Business: The first hiking store in Brooklyn recently opened in Crown Heights, and they also host bi-weekly hikes close to the city.
Garden: Spring is upon us and this cherry blossom tracker can help to get the timing right for a visit for the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
Hotel: I am always looking for a new weekend retreat (and one that feels appropriate with a young child) and the Little Cat Lodge seems worth a trip.
Useful Tip: For items that are challenging to dispose of properly, the SAFE disposal eventis this month in the city. I always have a pile of things to take.
Interior: I love the vignettes within Su Wong’s home. They feel personal, natural, and effortless.
